Sooth all Tangles & prevent Matting to make your hair extensions last long

Matting and tangles are one of the most common issues for the people who use hair extensions.
There are many reasons why hair extension tangle and matt at the root. Improper brushing
techniques, improper installation or even sleeping on wet hair can cause hair loss. Some people
experience this more than others. There are few things you can do to make sure that tangling and matting are kept to a minimum.

1) Supreme hair – Virgin quality hair is known to tangle less as the hair is silky soft and hydrated.
The dying process can damage the hair extension, making it more susceptible to tangling.

2) Luxurious Silk or satin pillow case- If you move around in your sleep, try sleeping on a softer
pillow case. This is also good for keeping the ends soft and healthy.

3) Dry your hair- Wet hair can matte and tangle if you move a lot in your sleep. Therefore, make
sure your hair is dry and tied up in a loose braid or pony before going to bed.

4) Proper installation- Hair Extensions should be installed in a neat pattern so that stray hairs are
not left behind and are wrapped around your bonds easily.

5) Brushing and grooming- Hair extension should be brushed twice a day, preferably once in the
morning at once at night. A wide tooth comb or loop brush keeps the hair extension from wrapping
around each other.

6) Frequent touch ups- When you are getting your touch ups done, ask your stylist to brush out
any tangles, as well as give you an idea of what is going on back there.

7) Wash the root section – When you wash your hair in a rubbing or circular motion, it can
cause tangling. If you have to wash in between your bonds, use a mild shampoo and wash in a
gentle manner.

If you have some hair tangling, book an appointment with your stylist. It is better to have your
stylist look at it at an extra fee, rather than lose out on your hair extensions over matting and
tangling.
